Setting up SMS, email and e-bills

Updated September 27, 2026

Send invoices and reminders to customers by SMS and email instead of paper.

Steps

  1. Go to Company Settings > Communications > E-Bill / Messaging.
  2. In SMS Credentials, enter the details from your SMS provider.
  3. In Email SMTP, enter your mail server details and send a test email.
  4. In E-Bill, turn on e-bills and choose when they are sent.
  5. Edit the messages customers receive in E-Bill Templates.

Check deliveries

E-Bill Deliveries shows every SMS and email sent and whether it was delivered.

Tips

  • Customers need a valid mobile number or email on their record to receive e-bills.
  • Keep SMS templates short. Long messages use more than one SMS credit.
